Plattenbau Promenades - Christoph Montebelli
In 2024, German–Austrian photographer Christoph Montebelli published his debut photography book Plattenbau Promenades, released in October 2024 by Kerber Verlag, Berlin.
The book presents Plattenbau residential areas in which millions of people around the world live. The photographer takes us through four of these districts across four continents, offering striking and empathetic perspectives on these urban “enfants terribles” through his lens, complemented by insights from various authors.
At Quattro Creative Studio, we had the honour of supporting Christoph’s clear vision for the publication and guiding the design process—from cover development and layout to paper selection and print preparation—in collaboration with Kerber Verlag in Berlin.
Supporting Christoph throughout every stage of the project, from the initial concept to the final execution, was a deeply rewarding experience.
