This initiative was brought to life by Selina Ellerich following the severe floods in the Ahr Valley, Germany, in 2021. All donations collected were given to an organization supporting the reconstruction of the Ahr Valley.
Each of the 12 illustrations in this calendar represents a meaningful moment in the year related to the Ahr Valley.
My month was September, which marks the grape harvest season, traditionally celebrated with local festivals.
